Mission Statement
We, the People and Priests of Balally Parish, are committed to:
- Putting the person of Jesus Christ at the centre of our lives
- Creating a Christian community that is ecumenical and respectful of other faiths
- Giving priority to prayer and worship of the Trinity
- Standing in solidarity with all who feel alienated
We acknowledge that we do not always live up to these commitments.
We promise, however, prompted by the Spirit, to try again and again.
Welcome

WELCOME to Balally Parish website.
I hope you will find it informative, and even inspiring.
Informative in terms of providing the times of Church services like weekend Masses, dates for Baptisms, the names of the Parish Team, the members of the Parish Pastoral Council and of the many other groups that work collaboratively with us in the Parish. You might even want to join one or other of these groups and if so you might get in touch with us.
You might also find the website inspiring insofar as it lists the various pieces of Liturgical Art in the Church, with some commentary and explanation. In particular, you might wish to visit the entries on the website about
– the Washing of the Feet
– the Torah Scroll
– the Burning Bush
– the Stations of Creation in stained glass
– the Stations of the Cross
Lastly, if you have any comments to offer on the design of the website or on how we might improve it, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Thank you for visiting the Balally website.
Wishing you every blessing and Shalom.
Fr. Dermot A. Lane, PP
