A Fledgling Robin

A Little Bird
As I sat in my garden
Cup of tea in my hand
A tiny little bird
At my feet he did land
A Fledgling Robin
Of that I was sure
he gazed up at me
And I gazed back at him
How little he was
That brave little bird
For I was a giant
Compared to his size
One of God’s creatures
Who depends on us
To protect his home here
On our beautiful Earth
Yes, we are all precious
In God’s loving eyes
He cares if even the
Tiniest bird should
Fall from the skies.
