In the early days of November a vitally important conference will take place in Glasgow, Cop . The subject is “Uniting the world to to tackle climate change “
We thought that it would be a good idea if we here in Balally joined in prayer and solidarity with the participants in this event . Father Dermot has been flagging the importance of care for the earth for years.Many of my own friends will be praying and meditating for a successful outcome.It is a life and death issue for all of us.
Accordingly , we invite you to An Hour of Solidarity with the Earth on Thursday next 4 November from 7 to 8 pm in the church.Father Dermot will lead us in reflection and in the second part I will lead a period of silent meditation .
All are welcome. Pass the word on. An hour of prayer will be a blessing for all of us
