The death has occurred of Martin Quinn Sandyford, Dublin
Sadly missed by his wife Deirdre, daughters Lisa and Lara, granddaughters Caragh, Bláthnat, Rose and Olive, son-in- law David and Adam, brothers Stephen and Michael, sisters in law Noeline and Audrey, beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours and fabulous friends from far and wide.
Martin of Dublin, and New Jersey, a bit of LA and a touch of Galway died suddenly in his sleep on Friday. He was known by many and will no doubt be remembered with fondness for his quiet manner and reticence – ha ha! Apart from his family – particularly his grandkids – rugby was his world. Marty was a great friend and neighbour, a talented rugby player (and commentator!), much loved uncle and adored Grandad. Diet Coke will miss his investment, and the cat Lily Boo will get fed and cuddled slightly less. The world shall be a quieter place without him.
Rest in Peace
Due to recent government guidelines regarding public gatherings a private family celebration of Martin’s life will take place on Thursday, 3rd September, and can be viewed at 3.15pm on the following link:
