"Did Not Our Hearts Burn Within Us?"

This extraordinary painting by Caravaggio, which was viewed by the Balally Parish Reader’s Club last week, comes to life in today’s gospel. We are all challenged to recognise the factual-actual presence of Jesus in today’s Mass and, perhaps, to kindle a fire within our own heart.
