During the Monday’s of Advent, beginning Monday 30th November, Sandyford and Balally Parish will run a session of “Godly Play” from 3.00 – 4.00 pm in the Pastoral Centre Balally.
While Godly Play is suitable for children of all ages, these particular sessions are catering for the 7+ age group.
In Godly Play, the invitation is given not for play in general but for play with the language of God and God’s people: our sacred stories, parables, liturgical actions and silence. In these sessions the children will learn about the Advent story leading to Christmas and will have the opportunity for imaginative play with arts and crafts.
