The Climate Pilgrimage 2018, Rome To Katowice

Jane Mellett, a Dublin Diocesan Parish Pastoral Worker, is off on a little walk this week 1,000km from Italy to Poland to the UN Climate Conferece (COP24) in Katowice, Poland, seeking to publicise ‘Climate Justice’. Jane tells us;

“I’m joining a mighty group of climate activists who set out from the Vatican a few weeks ago carrying our eco prayers and messages with them. We are trying to drum up as much publicity for the pilgrimage as possible and I would be grateful if you could share this website with anyone you think might be interested: www.climatepilgrimage.com

You might enourage friends, family, colleauges, parishes and community groups to visit the website and add their prayer/message for COP24. You can also find out more information about our route, our purpose and updates from the road.

I’ve been asked to blog my way along and this link will bring you to the first installment of my climate pilgrimage blog which I hope to update on the road, sharing our experiences of the campaign along the way.https://janemellett.blogspot.com/2018/10/our-common-home-from-wmof2018-to-cop24.html “

Please support Jane in whatever way you can.
