Last Saturday the Moreen Blackthorn Residents Association were celebrating 40 years and began their day with Mass at 11am here in the church.
The First Communion Children from St. Olaf’s began their journey towards the famous 28th of May appointment. Parents and children committed to the “Do This in Memory” programme during the Sunday 10.00 Mass.
On Wednesday the Baptism Team met with the families of 5 wonderful babies who will be baptised in the Parish on Sunday 11th October.
You will notice a special basket in front of the altar over the next week. It contains envelopes where the Children of our schools have written down their hopes for this school year. In their hopes they place themselves and their prayers before the Lord.
