Des McCudden
Des McCudden (Sandyford and formerly of Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown) October 12th, 2026. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Rita McCudden (née Doyle), cherished father of Anna, Paddy and Elaine, adored grandfather of William, Aoife, Ellie, Matilda, Ethan, Felix and the late Aaron-Patrick, and much-loved brother of John, Claire, Una, Paula, Carmel and the late Brian.
Sadly missed and forever remembered by all his loving family, sons-in-law Fabian and Marc, daughter-in-law Chiara, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Des will repose at JP Ward & Sons, Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Wednesday evening (Oct 14th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (Oct 15th) to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Knockananna Cemetery, Co. Wicklow arriving at 1pm approx.
