On the Bank Holiday week end we were joined at Mass by Fr. Gianni Criveller. He is an Italian priest who has worked for years in China (Hong Kong).
We also got a letter from the Holy Ghost fathers thanking the parish for the generosity showed to Fr. Noel O’Mara after his appeal. €5,915 was donated to the Mission. Fr O’Meara, 81 years old spoke with such clarity and emotion that he moved the hearts of all.
The Parish Office is preparing the parish calendar of activities for 2020. Some parishioner suggestions have already been included and there are still a few weeks if there is anything you would like make a suggestion.
The communications team is composing a Parish Logo and has developed a superimposition of an Ascending Christ over the Burning Bush. This would be the inspiration for the Logo but we are open for suggestions and other submissions.
