Rosaleen Griffin (née Mayew)
Rosaleen Griffin (née Mayew), Sandyford, Dublin, 14th February 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the medical staff at St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin.
Dearly beloved wife of Johnny, and sister to Emily, Fred and Rita (pre-deceased). Dearly missed by her loving niece and nephews, grandniece and nephews, great-grandniece and nephew, all her extended family and many friends.
May she Rest in Peace.
Rosaleen will repose in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, D14 X348 on Tuesday the 18th of February from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday the 19th of February at 10am, in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery.

Dear Johnny, Emily & Family,
I was heartbroken to hear about Rosaleen’s passing. Rosaleen was not only a wonderful neighbour but also a truly kind and generous soul. Her chocolate cakes were legendary, bringing warmth and joy to so many of us. But more than that, her kindness, laughter, and welcoming spirit will always be remembered.
