The death has occurred of

William (Willie) McCabe

Sandyford, Dublin / Ballinteer, Dublin

Formerly Ballinteer. Suddenly surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Trish, adored dad of Alan, Stacie, Alma and Megan, and cherished grandad of Isabella and Ben. Willie will be deeply missed and remembered always by his heartbroken family, Megan’s fiance Ken, his sisters Catherine and Frances, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral mass on Wednesday, December 11th, at 10’oc, in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally followed by cremation in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium. If you are unable to attend either service you may view online by following the links below:

  1. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Willie briefly in Balally Parish and found him to be such a true gentleman. The evidence of care, thought and passion that he put into his work is so evident in the grounds and facilities of Balally Church, residence and Pastoral Centre. Willie’s legacy will live on through the grounds and in the hearts of the people he connected with. My deepest condolences to his family. May Willie’s soul Rest in Peace.
