From Fr. Peter's Desk, 1st December, 2017

It was Christ the King, the great solemnity that ends the liturgical year;
the altar was richly decorated and the DTIM* children received the sheep
they have to mind until Christmas day. They have to bring the sheep closer
to the Baby Jesus over the next four weeks of advent.

The Finance Committee produced their annual report and explained it at
every one of the Masses. This Committee dedicates itself to oversee the
proper stewardship of the generous donations of the parishioners. The
application of the Charities Law is also high on the priority list of this
very dedicated group of volunteers.

The 400 Club produced another winner in the community and there was a very
successful cake sale in support of a local cancer cause.

The Board of the Pastoral Centre had its meeting, the Coordinator of the
Centre presented the accounts and there was a conversation around the great
work that is being done in the Pastoral Centre.

Another meeting of the Family Mass team took place as they planned for the
up-coming an busy Advent Season.
