Readings and Homily: The Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time – 16th August 2020

At times it can be difficult to see the links between the readings, but today’s readings all ask the same question: “Who can receive the Word of God?”, “Who has Jesus come for; for all or for the chosen few?”. What does it mean to be a foreigner, a stranger, an outcast? In Christ we are all a family before God. We are all loved.
